Ranchers and Farmers help feed the world and to do so keeps us quite busy doing daily activities to facilitate this.

Change is in the Air!

Change is in the Air!!

Amazing how the year goes by.  Us, Ranchers are always busy tending to our cattle and horses. Nelson Ranch has been evolving one step at a time to being better and better despite all the challenges we face in our cattle industry. We can feel overwhelmed and frustrated with the current economic circumstances, but we can always change our thoughts and attitudes to help us move forward! Family member, Averie Lee Stanley who is the 6th Generation on this ranch, really helps us focus on our priorities to overcome many of our obstacles.

 Fall is now here but Winter is just around the corner. We already had snow on Sept 29th!!  We had a nice calving season this year and a productive hay season. We now are gathering cattle from our USFS permit. Soon we will wean our calves and get everything ready for our Winter season.  Never a dull moment around here!  Enjoy our latest photo story, but continue to follow us on our Facebook page to get monthly updates on our working cattle ranch.
