Already January 11, 2013! Days fly by. Still trying to make this blog work better. I need to figure out how to add pictures soon.
Anyway, our ranch is in the middle of winter feeding that takes most of the day. The rest of the day is filled with getting ready for calving season, checking inventory of supplies and getting calving pens ready. Calving season starts Feb 23, + or - 2 weeks.
In addition to the daily chores, the financial information for the yearly tax return is being compiled as well as working out a plan for refinancing for the bank. This is our biggest challenge beginning this year.
Winter is truly here, we have at least 2 to 3 feet of snow. Daily plowing out has also been the focus of this week. Never a dull moment!
